The Kanata Art Club typically meets on the second Wednesday evening of each month (except for July and August), from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Note that meeting times may vary, depending upon the availability of our guest speakers. KAC members will receive a Flash Notice of the time, place and theme of each meeting.
The highlight of each meeting is a guest speaker/presenter from the Arts community, sharing their expertise and their personal artistic journey.
On Wednesday, May 15th, at 7:00 p.m., our guest speaker will be pastel artist Jessica Masters. She will be doing a demo of her approach to pastels, from contour drawing to finished work. She will talk about drawing, values, colour concepts and application techniques. She will also be available to answer all of your questions.
The session will not be taped, so you will want to mark your calendar.
