Discover the magic of watercolour with award winning artist Brian Turner. Brian studied Fine Arts at Okanagan College and Brigham Young University. He is a signature member of the Society of Canadian Artists and of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour.

“It has been said that knowledge is power.  For an artist, that knowledge includes principles as well as technique. . . we will search the works of accomplished artists for their application of both principles and effective watercolour technique, then apply those principles and technique to our own artwork.”

The Workshop

This workshop will challenge you to interpret fall scenes in watercolour. Brian will lead you through the compositional decisions that you will need to make to produce works with compelling shapes, a balance of lights and darks, and just the right amount of detail. He will help you to see the important aspects of the photo imagery that will launch you into landscape painting.

Kanata Art Club reserves the right to cancel a workshop where there is insufficient registration or public health restrictions. You will be notified and issued a cheque for a full refund.

A cheque for a full refund less an administrative fee of $25.00 will be issued if a written request is received on or before August 7th, 2023. There will be no refunds issued beyond August 7th, unless we can fill your spot from a waitlist.
